It’s always really fun to see where our brides hear about us!! Lindsey is a cousin to one of our 2014 brides, Reagan! We LOVED working with Reagan and Will, Reagan and I share a serious bond over our love for Tangled and Rapunzel. I knew that if Lindsey was coming to us from Reagan, that I would love working with her and Chase!! Lindsey and Chase were hoping to have a classic engagement session, the kind that never goes out of style!! It just so happened that my schedule lined up perfectly with theirs and we were able to shoot their engagements in Utah at the Salt Lake City Capitol building. What is more classic than that?! I’ll tell you what is more classic, when Chase showed up wearing a nice grey suit with a maroon tie and Lindsey came wearing a perfect maroon dress, paired with classic black heels. Now that is full on classy!
We were able to get those traditional shots that really will stand the test of time, but if you are shooting with us, you can bet that laughter and romance are going to be a part of it. Throughout our time together, I felt like I was really able to see these two and the way they bring the best out of each other. After changing outfits, we headed down to Memory Grove Park to get some variety for their gallery- again, such classic outfits! Chase wore khakis and a light blue button-up, while Lindsey wore a white top and jeans. These are outfits that will always look good!! We were surrounded by probably 10 other photography sessions, but we were able to get exactly what we wanted while we were there!! As we finished up there, we could tell the sunset was going to be perfect!! Chase and Lindsey quickly changed back into their other outfit and we finished back at the capitol with the prettiest glowy light!!By the end of the night, it was obvious that these two are going to help one another become the best version of themselves. That is truly one of my favorite things to see in couples, because I know that is what Logan is for me. So cliché, I know. But it’s true!!
