We are having a hard time believing that 2016 is just 2 days away. What happened to this entire year?!

To sum up 2015 in just a few words- It was a WILD ADVENTURE that we feel BLESSED to have experienced. At the beginning of the year, we were praying about our business name change, throwing the idea of videos into the mix, and now we are dreaming big about working together all the time.

This year, we planned a trip to Hawaii, on that trip got stung by Portuguese Man O’War and ate a lot of snow-cones. Logan has finished a few more semesters and has really grown into his major. I am SO happy and excited for all the things he is learning! I’ve been able to watch him grow so much in this year, and I am beyond proud of him! My hair has always had a tendency to grow really fast and because of that, I’ve tried a few different short hair cuts, but I have found my favorite with the a-symmetrical look that has been going on lately! 2015 saw us spending more and more time playing frisbee golf and spending more and more time outside. We took blankets and chairs out to the sand dunes and watched a meteor shower until about 3 in the morning.

We also did a lot of traveling- we went to Texas, Oregon, Colorado, Arizona, and Utah more times than we dare count. Not all of our trips were made together, but those individual trips were endured with lots of minutes being used on our phones 🙂 Because we added video into our workflow, that has been an adjustment, but thankfully it was a fairly smooth transition for us- for the most part! We taught our first workshop and have started hosting the Idaho Falls Tuesday Together group for creatives every month. Through attending different conferences, get togethers, and shoots, we’ve met amazing people in this industry that we get to call friends and look to for help and advice.

During 2015, we shot some of our very favorite weddings ever.We even got to shoot one of my best friend’s wedding!! I stepped in cow poop and startled a big owl in one session! All of our couples, blessed our lives and we feel like we made so many friends in them this year. We truly could not do what we do without them! They believe in and support us. We cannot believe how lucky we are to be surrounded by so many amazing people!! Thank you SO much to all of our 2015 couples and to our 2016 couples- we are so excited to work with you!
