Landunn and Abigail had the most classy and timeless style for their autumn Gooding Country Club wedding! I knew Abigail from shooting her sister’s wedding (Jason + Ari’s Canyon Crest Wedding), and I was so happy to be photographing this beautiful family again!
The Wedding Day
Normally when I walk into my bride’s getting ready space, there is some nervous energy — but not with Abigail! She was so calm as the morning went on.
Then when she put her dress on, I almost couldn’t believe how perfectly it fit her. It truly fit just like a glove! Her hair was styled to perfectly show off the back detailing – don’t miss that in the pictures! It was so special to capture these getting ready moments with Abigail, her mom and sisters, and her niece. Abigail’s mom said a prayer for her as they all held onto each other; it was such a tender moment!
We did a “First Look” with Abigail’s bridesmaids seeing her in her dress for the first time, and they had the best reaction! Oh, and can we talk about the bridesmaids cabernet, dusty rose, and berry colored mismatched dresses? Gah!! They were the PERFECT fall tones!
In fact, this whole bridal party was amazing. They knew just how to hype up both the bride and the groom. Landunn’s groomsmen had him laughing the whole day. Having a fun wedding party makes the day such a joy for everyone involved!
After their beautiful ceremony, we took portraits with the most vibrant fall colors. Leaves were flying all around in the wind, and it added such a magical touch to their photos! Abigail and Landunn’s classy styled came through with his black tux and her fur coat. At the reception, they had some fun family traditions — like drinking out of the double cup — Abigail proudly won!
Something extra special about their wedding day was that Landunn and Abigail now share their anniversay with Abigail’s maternal grandparents, who are both deceased now. What a beautiful tribute to their marriage and legacy!
