During this session, with these two amazing people, I was reminded of how absolutely incredible this job is of ours. We get to be with people as their love story is just unfolding. We get to capture these moments full of love and laughter. We get to share in this special time of their lives with them and meet so many wonderful people. But this session wasn’t for someone we’d never met, it was for my oldest friend, a friend that I have always known, from before I can remember. And that made this session even more special!

As we spent the evening with them, I was quickly aware of how extremely happy Kelsey was with him. I have seen her happy before, but this was new. Rye has given her a new kind of happiness, the kind that only your other half can give to you. Every time I turned around, they were laughing together, holding each other close. Rye is everything I hoped that Kels would find and I can’t wait to see where this new adventure will take them!! Enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement session.
