I met Michaela earlier this year at a photographers meet up for our city. She was SO nice and I was really glad we met; it’s always nice to have a fellow photographer be a friend, supporter, and someone who will like your photos on Facebook. I hadn’t met Justin until our shoot, but I felt like I knew a little bit about their relationship before we even met. When I’d see Michaela post about Justin on Instagram or Facebook, I could tell they were an adventurous, fun, and loving couple. It’s not about writing mushy posts about your spouse or fiancé that make you seem loving; it is the sincerity and the reason behind the post. Each time I saw her posts, I knew she was sincere about the things she said about Justin and then meeting them in person, it all came full circle. Justin and Michaela love being outdoors and they love being together. Justin fully supports Michaela in her business and she lets him do his hunting thing! Their story started with a blind date and now they’ve been married for a year and a half. And after spending some time with them, I would say they have this marriage thing down pretty good 🙂

It’s always a little nerve wracking taking pictures for another photographer, but I instantly loved working with these two. They were SO natural at everything! All I really had to do was click a button, they were so fun to work with and trusting in anything I said. I couldn’t get over the way Justin looked at Michaela and the way she seemed to fit perfectly in his arms.  These two made my job so easy and I’m so glad I got to spend time with them and see their relationship in person! Justin and Michaela have so many adventures ahead of them. I’m sure of that!!
