Earlier this year, Logan and I put together our very first styled shoot. We really wanted to work with some vendors, create place settings, and be in control of a shoot with a vision we had in mind. It turned out great, but we learned A LOT about what we felt like could have made it better and things to change for our next one. We’d been considering doing another one when my friend Meghan emailed me about how she was coming to Idaho around Christmas and part of January. She said how she really wanted to have a snowy styled shoot while she was going to be here and while we were at United together, we did a lot of brainstorming. Our ideas and hopes came to real plans, emails and now a styled shoot! We wanted this styled shoot to be different and more than the usual styled shoots filled with pretty images. We wanted to create an atmosphere of learning and creativity. This styled shoot needed to push us and make us stretch and grow. But we didn’t want to keep this styled shoot to ourselves… Announcing our first styled shoot that we are HOSTING for more photographers than just us.
We have put together an AMAZING team of vendors to help us put this shoot together. These talented, awesome creatives are helping us put together a romantic, winter mood to complete the look we’ve been envisioning for this session and we couldn’t be more excited!! The shoot will be complete with table and place settings, invitation suite, florals, a gorgeous couple, a cake, and more!!

Here’s all the need to know facts before signing up-
You need to know how to shoot in manual to come to this- we won’t be going over that during the shoot. Before we begin shooting we will be having some snacks and getting to know each other! We want to create a sense of friendship and make it comfortable to shoot with each other. We will be splitting up into smaller groups for each of the “areas” of the shoot to give each participant plenty of time to get all of the images they want and to get creative! This is where we want you to find new techniques and make new things work for you!!
Because we have such an amazing team of vendors, each participant will be required to send images to each vendor for their portfolios. Along with sending images to the vendors, when you share images on social media, you will be required to tag them in the images you share! You will be able to use these images in your portfolios and social media, but we will be submitting this session to be featured on a blog. Due to that, this session cannot be shared on your blog until after we have submitted for a feature.
