THE JOURNAL

Bryton + Savannah | The Anniversary

Some days I can’t believe I have the job that I do and that I get to work with people multiple times and be a part of their lives. When Bryton and Savannah were getting married, I was able to take their engagement pictures, and that was before Logan and I were even married. Savannah and I were friends in high school together and you know how it is, you always want to see your friends happy and by the end of this session, I knew that no one could make her happier than Bryton. It makes it is always so fun to take pictures of our married friends and these two had me laughing the whole time.

My favorite thing about anniversary sessions is seeing the way that a love has changed from the wedding day to now. These two have still got it 🙂 The way that he took her hand, spun her around, picked her up, and made her laugh, made it obvious that after two years of marriage, he only loves her more. And I’m so excited to share my favorites from their anniversary session with you today!!
We drove out to the location together and as we got close, Bryton kept giving us more options of where to pull off and get out. Our favorite was when he told us we could park there, climb down this one area and that is where he likes to fish…. too bad he didn’t bring his fishing pole 😉  As soon as we got out of the truck, Bryton was on a roll. He would lead Savannah to a pose or a look that was perfect without me doing anything. So many times I had to say wait, hold that, because they were so in the moment and looked perfectly in love without me doing anything. Here’s a look at their session!

I love this one!

Savannah has been telling me about this old blue truck that she wanted to take pictures at for a year! And I couldn’t think of a better way to end the session…
