I’m a little behind on my blogging game for my weddings, but I’m excited to start catching up! Maddi and Reed kicked off our 2019 wedding season in March at the Idaho Falls temple. It was so fun to be able to meet them and their families there but then carry on the fun at their reception! Their reception was at The Barn on 1st Stree in Idaho Falls and I LOVED it there!! If you are planning a reception in Idaho Falls, be sure to check it out!
A few of my favorite things about this wedding was how unbelievably happy Maddi and Reed were to be married. I am not sure I’ve ever seen a groom as excited as Reed was! It was so much fun just to be around that excitement and love. Another thing I loved about this wedding was that Reed’s brother was able to Facetime into the reception as he is serving a mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. How cool is that?! And one of my final favorite things was the reaction of Maddi’s sisters during Maddi and Reed’s first dance. Maddi is the first to get married and the oldest and this was a big moment!
One of things that we love to be able to do to serve our clients well is to knock family picture time out of the park! Maddi and Reed were married in March and March in Idaho Falls isn’t always the most pleasant. We gathered all the family together for a big photo and I promised to be finished up quick for everyone to be able to get out of the cold. One of Reed’s uncles said, that’s what they all say! But I told him to time me 🙂 He didn’t actually time me, but it was so fun to be able to really do well at getting everyone out of the cold quickly! That uncle and I chatted a lot at the reception and I think I won him over 😉
When they were planning the wedding, Maddi’s mom found a picture of these beautiful doors as a backdrop the reception. She showed it to her husband, Maddi’s dad, and he just whipped them right out! I can’t wait for you to see how incredible it turned out! Be sure to scroll through the reception photos to see how it looked! Not only did they have a beautiful backdrop, but it was covered in fresh flowers as well as the rest of the barn! And to my surprise, Maddi’s family had spent the evening prior setting it all up and creating those pieces! I was blown away!!
