I’ve been so excited to share Ben and Emilee’s wedding here on the blog for so many reasons, but if you missed their formal session that we took the day before their wedding, be sure to head over to THIS POST and see how beautiful it all was! When a wedding day is full of as much joy as there was for this wedding, you know that it’s going to be a good day!! You also know that everyone REALLY loves a couple when they stand out in the cold and are still smiling as they wait for the bride and groom to exit!

Emilee thought of all the details for her wedding, including a second pair of BEAUTIFUL flat Mischka Badgley shoes for the reception. Not only were these shoes some of my favorite I’ve ever photographed, but she found them at Nordstrom Rack!! Brides, take note of that!! Speaking of details, they had little boxes at each seat that said Ben and Em’s. Inside of each box was customized M&M’s! They were so cute!

Ben and Emilee were surrounded by friends that truly loved them on their wedding day. Their bridal party was made up of people who had walked with them at all different stages of life!! Many of them flew and or drove many hours to be there any celebrate Ben and Emilee and dance the night away with them. These are the kind of friends you want in your life!!

While we were photographing at the temple, we had the dreamiest light for portrait time and I loved every second of it! We could have photographed for hours if that wind wasn’t chilling us all to the bone! From the temple, we all headed to Washington to The Empress Estate where we found the perfect bridal suite and a beautiful reception set up and waiting for their party to start! This was the perfect place to finish off the night with Ben and Emilee and I’m so glad I could be a part of it all! PS- Emilee is renting our her wedding dress if anyone is interested!
