Ah!! I can’t believe this wedding never made it onto the blog last year!! It slipped right past me, but I’m kind of happy that it did because looking at it has me thinking all sorts of warm, wedding season thoughts!! We are so excited for the weddings we have in store this year and if our couples are anything like last year, we definitely will have the best year!! In case you were wondering what the best way to handle a move is, book a wedding before you buy the house and on moving day say, “sorry, I can’t help!!” That’s what happened for this wedding! I got out of moving everything into our house because I had been booked for this wedding before we ever found our house! I came home to the house full of boxes and all of our stuff already in it!!
I didn’t have a chance to meet Megan and BJ until minutes before they stepped out of the Rexburg LDS temple as husband and wife to their huge crowd of family and friends. As I walked in to meet them, I was greeted with the biggest and widest smiles!! You will see exactly what I mean in these photos! These two had a relationship that was one for the books and it was incredible hearing about how long they had known each other and how they had grown in the times of being not together and how it all just led them right back to each other. It was the sweetest and from my short time with them, I know that their relationship is one that will be full of laughter and so much joy!!! As we were shooting, Megan told me she wanted some veil shots and if you didn’t know, I am a sucker for veils and using them in photos! Brides take note- veils add SOOOOO much to your photos and if you don’t want to wear it for all of your photos, you don’t have too! 🙂
[…] always knew she wanted me to photograph her wedding. This last fall, she referred her best friend Megan (so many Megan’s) to me for her wedding and this Megan showed up with a boyfriend!! I knew it […]
