I have been seriously blessed to have some great friends in the photography industry. From Maryland to Texas to Utah to Idaho, I feel like I truly have met some of the greatest people! They are constantly encouraging me and helping me grow in my own business. In January after we hosted our first styled shoot for other photographers, I was chatting with my good friend Ashley. She is an incredible senior photographer that has a a serious talent for making these girls have the BEST senior experience ever. All of her seniors are always dressed to perfection and look so cute!! Go check her out! While we sat in her office, decorated to match her personality, brand, and seniors perfectly, we chatted about how there are a lot of wedding styled shoots in our area, but not any that are senior based. With that idea, she quickly came up with mood boards and was going to be hosting her own styled shoot! That shoot happened this past Saturday and it turned out perfect. Ashley had planned great locations, seniors girls, outfits, hair and makeup. Everyone had tons of time to get images of the girls and get to practice and try new things.

I got to tag along and shoot some BTS images, along with a few images of the girls. I also was in charge of Ashley’s snapchat that day. I was a little snap happy 🙂 One of the best parts about styled shoots, is being able to get to know more photographers in the area and put names to faces. It also gives everyone a chance to see how others work and that is always a chance to improve our own work!!
