Kathryn Albertson Park Engagement Session | Casey + Abby

Casey and Abby’s engagement session in downtown Boise and Kathryn Albertson Park was everything a photographer could dream of for fall photos! I loved starting in downtown. The arches, the buildings, the bricks, the light! We started at the capitol building, and then walked around a few blocks. We found so many cool spots to stop at. It was all so lovely; especially with Abby’s perfect fall sweater and boots. The whole downtown vibe was just so fun and different.

I always encourage my couples to bring two outfits to their engagement session — one more casual, and one more formal. This helps to bring so much variety to your gallery, as well as show off different sides of your personalities together. So when Abby changed into the most beautiful, floral dress and Casey brought out his crisp, white button up I was so stoked!

From there, we made it to Kathryn Albertson Park, along with what felt like every other photographer from Boise! It was SO busy because the fall colors were unreal in Boise this year. Despite the crowds, we were still able to find so many good spots with perfect lighting. The photos turned out so beautiful that I’m convinced we might just have to take our own family pictures there next year!
