Chris and Kaycee got married just over two weeks ago! We aren’t ready to show off their wedding day quite yet, so in the meantime, I’m going to share their bridal session. On the day of their session, I remember feeling cold and wanting a Starbucks white hot chocolate to warm up afterward, but I’d take those temperatures any day over these negative temperatures we’ve been having lately!! In case you missed a little bit of the back story, you can check out their engagement session here. And I will just fill you in a little bit on it. Kaycee was my very first roommate in college and she was so good for me. She really made my first semester so fun and was exactly what I needed as a roommate that semester. I loved being able to room with her and becoming best friends. When she got engaged, I was someone who got a text and I didn’t have to find out on Facebook and that meant the world to me! When we chatted about different places to go for this session, she suggested up close to the area where he proposed to her in Pocatello and I was all for it!! A new location with special meaning to the couple?! That’s the best day ever!!

When I got there, the coloring was perfect because this was just days before Thanksgiving and most of all the color everywhere was gone!! This spot gave us the tall golden grass and those green pine trees to give us that color on the hill. Kaycee arrived first and I was able to “oooooh and ahh” over everything before Chris got there. She looked stunning and I couldn’t wait for Chris to see her. I was also able to get a good look at her bouquet from Ecoflowers!! It is made out of wood! Be sure to watch for images of it to check it out! After their first look, we hit the best spots and had the entire place to ourselves and I love when that happens at sessions. That means we don’t have to dodge people in the background or worry about people walking by, it was just time to laugh and get to chat together!! My favorite thing that I really noticed at this session was that when Chris looks at Kaycee, there is a smile that she gets out of him that no one else can and man that Kaycee smile is good!!
