So happy to be sharing Chris and Kaycee’s wedding today!!! They were married in December at the Twin Falls LDS temple on a day that we all felt was pretty chilly and cold. The wind whipped and the air was brisk, but oh boy I would take those temperatures over the ones we have been having here in southeast Idaho for the past couple weeks. These negative temperatures and single digits need to go away! Even though we all felt a little chilled, the day was beautiful. Logan and I were able to actually attend their sealing, as my relationship with Kaycee started as we were roommates in college and not just her photographer. The sealing was beautiful, full of words and a feeling that I hope these two carry with them forever. It was truly so special to be a part of and witness the beginning of their marriage!

As they exited the temple. they were met with cheers and smiles from family and friends. People came to see these two seal the deal from all over and from different parts of their lives- college roommates, mission companions, extended family, and more. As we moved from family to portrait time, I loved watching Chris smile and light up when he looked at Kaycee. He lit up for her in a way that was truly so special!! Logan commented on how much he enjoyed seeing this big wide grin spread across Chris’ face as he looked over to Kaycee. When we both notice it, you know it must have really been something else!! We walked around that temple shooting their portraits as quickly as possible because of the cold, but I loved how it all turned out. Logan will always be my favorite second shooter and I loved getting to see the way he photographed the same things I was. He sees things differently than I do and it always adds such a good variety to everything! I bet you can’t tell which images are his versus mine in here.

Chris and Kaycee have already set off to make their marriage incredible over the past month and I truly cannot wait to see where life takes these two and their relationship! When a couple builds each other up the way these two do, you know great things are in store!
