I can’t believe it is already time to be blogging Ashlyn’s wedding! I remember the very first day I got a message from her about what my availability looked like for a few different dates and I knew exactly why she was asking. We set up a time to meet together and go over wedding details and chat about any questions she and her mom had. At the time, she wasn’t engaged yet and it brought back so many memories!! That’s exactly how I was doing things when Logan and I were to the point of being engaged. We knew what date we were getting married but I didn’t have a ring. But I got all of our wedding plans done before he even proposed- I met with the decorator the day he proposed!
At our little meeting, she was still unsure of the date but was leaning to Friday, October 13th. She had no hesitations about it being a Friday the 13th, and I’m so glad that she stuck with that date because the following day we woke up to SNOW!! And the next weekend (all dates she was considering) was basically tornado winds here in Idaho Falls. Even though Dawson and Ashlyn walked out of the Idaho Falls temple to a chillier, slightly windy October day, it was still beautiful and sunny! Fall colors were on the trees surrounding the temple and it was a beautiful day!
One of my favorite things about working with these two from their engagements to formals to their wedding was their spontaneous fun, love filled hugs. I didn’t have to direct or pose them into a hug, it always just came so easy and natural to them. I have always loved Ashlyn and I am so happy she found Dawson!! I hope hugs always come so natural to them and that they are always can look to each other for that laughter and joy that they find in each other!!
And don’t miss out on their barn reception! It was a perfect place for their fall wedding reception! I am so in love with his image and the way her hair was caught up in the wind! Ashlyn and all of her bridesmaids were so beautiful! This father daughter dance left me feeling all emotional
Simply beautiful!
Thank you Maurice!
