Idaho Falls Greenhouse Engagements | Isaac + Rylie
I feel like I still can’t believe I am writing this blog post. In my mind, Rylie has always been the sweet little girl that I grew up babysitting. Her family was a big part of my life, and Rylie just felt like a little sister that I didn’t have. Plus, she was the oldest in her family and didn’t have any sisters either! We got to be each other’s “fill-in” sisters. So taking these greenhouse engagement photos for her and Isaac felt totally surreal.
Knowing that Rylie loves flowers, and then seeing the colors on her dress, I knew going to a local greenhouse (Town and Country Gardens) would be the perfect place for their engagements. They were so kind to let us shoot there after asking permission. They even told us we could stay there past closing if we needed too! I love these photos for all the fun colors and textures that pop and give life to everything! Not to mention the light!! It was so clean and crisp in there — flowers, color, good light. It’s everything I love in an engagement session! Plus, I love taking ring shots (I even have a Pinterest board full of some of my favorite ones!), and having countless flowers to use as backgrounds for Rylie’s stunning engagement ring made my photographer heart so happy!
During their engagement session, I heard Isaac’s “grandpa laugh” for the first time….It gets Rylie every time! I loved seeing her laugh. That big smile would spread across her face and I just felt so happy for the two of them. I also really appreciated his kindness towards her. You might laugh or think well of course, but actually the level of kindness and respect he showed to Rylie was very impressive, and honestly, I just don’t see that at every engagement session.
We were able to time everything right and get blossoming trees, a golden sunset, and so much joy and laughter. As much as it blows my mind that Rylee is old enough for all of this, it just felt so right. I’m so happy these two found each other!
