I always love me a beautiful, sunny day for an Idaho Falls temple wedding! Kai and Sydney had the epitome of a perfect summer wedding, complete with an outdoor dinner under twinkling lights. Every detail was so well thought through and perfectly done — from the hand-painted macarons to the bridesmaids’ custom bracelets and the groomsmen’s initialed tie bars. The florals, food, and décor were all inspired by Sydney’s love for tropical flowers and colors. This meant that everywhere you looked, everything was so bright, cheerful, and happy! I felt like I had been transported right into the tropics. I of course also loved the stunning floral archway, which made for the most perfect backdrop for portraits, as well as the beautiful, rolling grass field and photos right at golden hour.

A few of my favorite details included Kai and Sydney’s favorite, custom drinks, the fact that even their dog joined in on all the wedding fun, and the reception speeches! During their reception, members of their families each gave the couple a specific gift to help them be married to the other person. This meant we all got to hear fun stories about why that gift mattered. I love getting to know my couples even better through the view point of their families during the reception and toasts, and this evening did not disappoint!
