One of my favorite things that I get to do after weddings is designing the album!! I love pulling all of the images from the day that will completely tell the story of the day from beginning to end in a beautiful and seamless way. This is one of the ways to relive your wedding day over and over again so quickly! It also is creating your first heirloom. Can you just imagine your children looking through the pages of your wedding album, seeing how much the two of you love each other?  That is one of my favorite things to think about. I love the idea of children and grandchildren being able to see your wedding images often and easily. Who knows where technology will take us and what will be accessible to the coming generations. Your wedding album makes it easy for them to be able to look your photos!

Don’t get me wrong, we give our brides all of the images that make our cut (no blinking, out of focus, weird crops, etc) and they end up with a lot of images to look through. The only problem with that is that you don’t often have enough time to sit down and go over all of the images you have. Don’t worry, you don’t need to raise your hand or let us know that this has happened to you, but we know it has because it even happens to us. We have our wedding pictures on a disc (that is somewhere in a box currently and backed up on our computers) but we actually don’t have a single wedding picture out right now in our room. My mom has one on her wall that I walk by every day, but outside of that, we don’t have any! BUT we have a wedding album that is right next to our bed and we can look through our wedding day anytime we want too! I love the album. I can sit wherever I want to look through them all and the entire feeling of the day is RIGHT THERE in 15 spread. It’s like reliving our wedding day over and over again when we look at it.

We have a package that gives brides the opportunity to book an album from the beginning, but we understand that sometimes it isn’t an option due to budgets. We’ve had brides book the album after the wedding has passed and had it made for their 1 year anniversary! How sweet is that?! Albums come in two sizes, 10×10 and 8×8. In our opinion, the 10×10 is the perfect album for you and your husband. It’s not too crazy huge but it’s also not too small. This one is my favorite size! The 8×8 makes the perfect parent album. Parent albums make a great gift to give to your mom and dad that they will be able to look through for the years to come. Most likely, they helped pay for a part of your wedding and it is nice to give them something to look at and hold onto themselves. Plus, they won’t be at your house every day to see your beautiful album! The albums are filled with images from your wedding day such as bridal details, bridal prep, groom details, ceremony, portraits, family portraits, bridal party, and all the reception fun. For brides who have a bridal session, we can also include bridal session images in the album too! Each album varies in the number of spreads it needs due to how long your day was and how many images you are hoping to include. You don’t want your album to look cluttered or too “full” of images.

The pages are made of a thick material to help them last and create an heirloom for your children and grandchildren to look through! Who knows there technology is heading and what will be accessible still to them in the years to come, but this photo album is something that will stay classic and full of images that kids will love to look through. The actual page feels so soft and creamy almost. It’s a deep matte paper that makes my heart melt. The images just come alive off of this paper. The cover material on these albums shown below is a linen in a tan neutral color and I’m obsessed with it!! It’s so beautiful in person!!
