It’s no secret that we love weddings, but we don’t often share just how much we love to take pictures of couples after the wedding dress is put away and “life” has happened. That’s what the anniversary sessions are all about. It’s about getting all dressed up, celebrating your marriage, keeping your love alive, and preserving these moments of your marriage in this moment. It’s about still being in love and wanting to leave that legacy of love for your kids and the generations to come.

Jared and Chelsea’s anniversary session seemed to capture the feeling of all those things than an anniversary session is supposed to be. They are just about to start a new chapter in their lives as they just moved out of their first home, are about to welcome baby #2, and are going to be moving to a new state soon. With all of those things going on, we took time out of their busy, busy lives to focus on where they are at this moment right now. Despite all of the craziness going on, they are happy and so in love. I don’t say that to be sappy or cliché, but being with them and watching the way Jared looked at Chelsea in those little in between moments, was enough to show anyone that their marriage is a priority in their lives. After seeing all of the laughter, smiles, and love between these two, I know that as their lives continue to be a little on the wild side over the next few months with more changes, that they are going to continue to stay strong in their marriage because they continue to choose each other. They choose to make each other laugh and to be the one to lift each other up when things get tough. I can’t wait to see where life takes these two and their little family!!
