Logan and I believe in creating bucket lists and dreaming big. Honestly, we have bucket lists on our phones for places to shoot, places to vacation, things we want to do, and then big dreams. One of the places we had on our list of places to shoot was Oregon. And last week I crossed that off our list. But someday we will have to go back together!
When I was single and going to college, I wasn’t studying photography and I went back and forth about whether or not I really wanted to pursue it. Hannah was one of those roommates who pushed me and told me I should totally do it. And then she said how she wanted me to be her wedding photographer when that time came. When she got engaged, I was already booked for her wedding date and I was devastated to know I wouldn’t be there with her on her big day. We started looking at our schedules to see what we could make anything happen before the wedding and miraculously we found an opening in both of our schedules when Jordan would have just arrived from his cross country drive from Virginia. The dates were set and a plane ticket was purchased.
As we drove out to the coast and the Vanduzer National Forest, we chatted about life and their love story. It was such a wonderful experience for me to see Hannah so happy and I know these two will have such a happy life together! I can’t wait to see where their new marriage of adventure takes them! Good luck tomorrow! It will all be amazing!
P.S.I went and picked up some flowers in the morning of their shoot at Trader Joe’s and her sister and I pulled (mainly her sister, but I helped a little) pulled together this bouquet! I was dying over it!
One of my favorites!
Oh Hannah! You are so beautiful! That glowy light was amazing!Definitely a favorite!
We love when a test shot becomes a favorite from the session- like this one of Jordan!
