In January, Logan and I drove to Colorado to visit Troy, Carrie, and their kids!! We wanted to surprise the girls and be there to celebrate their 9th birthday. While we were there, Carrie asked if we would do a little birthday video interview of the girls to be able to look back on and rewatch as they get older. We sat down and came up with different questions and Logan and I got to sit down with each of them and ask them a bunch of questions to get to know them and their 9 year old selves even better!! It was really fun to see what they said that was the same and the answers that were different. When we came home from our trip, we finished up a recap video and pictures quickly, but somehow this video got forgotten as the videos got moved into a separate folder! Two nights ago, I remembered and set to get it all finished. I’m so sorry Carrie!!! Yikes!! My bad! I know this is 8 months late, but we thought it was such a fun idea and something you could do for your own kids or even as adults! We did a birthday interview video for Logan this year too! Hopefully, when we have kids I will remember to do something like this because I think it is so fun to be able to not only hear their voices, but to see their personalities shine through and be a big part of this video!
