Kelly Canyon Engagement Session | Logan and Olivia
Logan and Olivia’s Kelly Canyon engagement session was filled with so much joy! We laughed through so much of this session! I loved hearing them tell me the story of their first kiss. That moment was just one of so many small, funny little moments that really built their friendship into this beautiful relationship they have now. And trust me, they still are laughing and so giggly anytime I asked them to kiss! Which of course I had them do often. It made for the sweetest pictures!
I always tell my couples to bring two outfits. Generally, one outfit is casual while the other is a little more formal. Think cute dresses and skirts! This gives me the chance to add as much variety as possible to their gallery. It also just highlights a different side of their personalities! We hiked all around the Kelly Canyon area in their first outfit and had such a great time! Of course I was loving all the green surrounding them up against the green in Olivia’s outfit.
Then, we switched outfits and headed towards Cress Creek. There we were met with so many other people in the area. That can happen with popular locations sometimes! But don’t worry, I’m always able to find spots without people in the background. I know how to work the light and elements so that you can’t even tell. We found some spots to go and as we walked along the river, a rainstorm came on so fast! There was no escaping it, so we just chatted and got rained on as we walked back to the cars. And of course we had to get a few photos of them playing in the rain. They didn’t let any of that dampen their moods or get them down!
As I drove home from the session, a rainbow came out and just made the night end on a perfect note. I had a feeling their wedding day was going to be so perfect!!
