Meeting Landon and Michelle in Texas was amazing and our time together was a dream!! From the very beginning, these two were so at ease with each other and in front of the camera. Although their very first impression and moment of “meeting” might have been a little wild, these two settled into life with each other easily, even after she accidentally got his house broken into early in their relationship. Their relationship has become sweeter with time and it was obvious in the way they spoke about their life together with their routines, dreams, hopes, and plans.

To start our session, we met them at their home to look over their beautiful property and scope out what and where we wanted to shoot. We decided to start over closer to the river where it was green and the light was perfect! From there, we went to the field of yellow flowers that Landon found one day while he was out for a run while Michelle was gone for the day. He stopped his run just to take a picture of this location to see what Michelle thought about it for pictures, how sweet is that? We finished up on their property and we could not have had better timing because the lighting was incredible as it peeked through the trees and warmed their skin. Not only did I get to meet and spend the evening with these two, but their dog Lexie was a part of our shoot too and she was the perfect addition.

Michelle & Landon planned and coordinated outfits perfectly to go with their locations. One of my favorites things to their session was that they picked out these amazing places and it was all close to their home. It made the pictures seem that much more special to have them pick their own locations and to bring Lexie. The whole session really just felt like them, comfortable and romantic. That is the perfect combination for an engagement session!
