Logan turned 28 this past Friday and while this blog post was supposed to go up then, I’ll just blame it on the million other things I have going on in my mind right now!! For Logan’s 28th birthday, I wanted to share 28 random facts you might not know about him because usually I am the one doing all the talking on here and social media so it’s time to get to know him a little bit better.

1. Logan loves to read! We just bought him the second book in a series he is reading, and he is almost done!! I’m sure he’ll finish it up on our flight to AZ this week or sooner!
2. He could survive on cheese sandwiches. It gets worse.. he puts it in the microwave to get it all melty. Yuck.
3. He (we) loves playing games. For his birthday, we got Dominion and he was so happy to open that box up. Anyone need a game night? Let us know! 🙂
4. He is ready to be a daddy!! He is so excited for us to have this little man and get to be a dad and I cannot wait to see him hold that little guy. I’m going to cry and cry and cry.
5. He won’t touch green salad or raw carrots- actually any raw vegetable for that matter. Vegetables have to be cooked and he simply avoids green salad. I’ve seen him eat maybe three bites of lettuce our entire marriage.
6. He served an LDS mission for 2 years in Capetown, South Africa. That’s why it’s on our bucket list to go back!!
7. Logan grew up as the only brother in his family. He has 3 sisters, two older and one younger. I grew up with four older brothers. We understand each other really well 🙂
8. I have converted him to the Apple side of life and now he is the one who keeps me updated on new products or updates.
9. Logan would probably eat pizza every day of his life if I let him.
10. And although he would eat pizza every day, Mexican food is still his very favorite!
11. He is the one who first told me to cut my hair short. He’s really the best!
12. Logan is an amazing public speaker and presenter. I’m always so impressed by him when I listen to him.
13. He has a tendency to start speaking in accent if he is talking with someone who has an accent. He had an Australian mission companion and they spoke to teach other a few weeks ago and I knew immediately who he was talking to because of the accent.
14. His obsession with frisbee golf is real. We went a few weeks ago in snow boots because he finally felt like it was warm enough to go.. it was freezing, but we went anyways 🙂
15. As an uncle, he gets called “Go-go” and “Lo-lo”
16. Logan loves a good video game. He and I are usually pretty equally matched at Mario Kart, I can beat him at Dr. Mario, but he takes the rest!!
17. If Idaho’s weather wasn’t so crazy, he would wear Nike Free Runs every single day.
18. I love it when he makes scrambled eggs. He does the best job at them!
19. He willingly will go to Target with me to literally just walk around. I cannot even tell you how many times we have gone to Target and walked through the entire store without purchasing anything. We walk through that store and talk about different goals and what kind of vacuum we should buy someday.
20. When it came to picking my wedding ring, he did it all by himself. We never even went ring shopping together. He also picked out his ring for that matter! I didn’t do a thing with our rings.
21.  Logan’s has always been a crazy night owl, but after he started his job, we have been going to bed by 11. This is a whole new thing for us! Ha 🙂
22. Three sock brands that he absolutely loves- Happy socks, Nike, and Puma. Our sock drawer is full of bright, fun and colorful happy socks and then ankle Nike and Puma socks.
23. He’s a sucker for chocolate chip cookies!! He claims that when my mom makes cookies, he probably eats about half of them.
24. Marvel movies are some of Logan’s very favorites. We are basically beyond stoked to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2.
25. He switched me sides of the bed with the pregnancy so I wouldn’t be next to the wall. In the mornings I’m running up the stairs to go to the bathroom. I know he would much rather be on “his” side, but he has been so nice to let me use it for now. We’ll see what happens once little man gets here 🙂
26. Logan is always up trying something new from pickle ball to frisbee golf to new games. I don’t know if I’ve ever heard him say he wouldn’t try something, other than the green salads!
27. His dad wanted to name him Lucas and his mom wanted to name him Jacob. But they ended up both being able to agree on Logan!
28. Logan is the best thing that has ever happened to me!! He brings out the best in me and in any situation. He is always looking for the bright side of things and he knows how to bring everyone’s happiness level up. I honestly will always wonder how I got so lucky.

Happy 28th birthday Logan! I can’t wait to see where 28 and 24 take us!
