Jayce and Kenzie | Mesa Falls Bridals

Photo sessions can be tricky during springtime in Southeast Idaho. You just never know when things will turn from brown and muddy to green and pretty! Plus, there is also the question of what the weather will be doing that way. That’s why we decided to head to Mesa Falls for Jayce and Kenzie’s bridals. Up there in the mountains of Ashton, Idaho we were met with fresh green leaves, green pine trees, and small spots of snow still hanging around. Heading up in elevation and into the mountains can actually be a great option for winter and spring engagement sessions and bridal sessions because the pine trees still provide greenery! Plus, the mountains are just always a great background, no matter the time of year.

I keep a “Bucket List” of locations that I want to shoot at, and Mesa Falls has been high up on the list! It was so fun to finally shoot these bridals there! It offered us a wide variety of options: rocks, aspens, big wide mountain shots, and of course those tight, intimate shots too. Jayce and Kenzie have such a sweet and tender relationship — I think it shows in the pictures. Just take a look at the way Jayce looks at Kenzie when he sees her in her dress for the first time!! It’s heart-melting!
