When Bailey was first told that she should meet Nick, she had other plans for her life. Her friend first showed her a video of him playing the piano and that started to spark her interest, but she didn’t think too much of it because she had some other things going on in her life… until she met him. When she saw him, everything changed and all of her plans were changed. Everything became plans to go hiking together, plans to travel together, and plans to start a life together.
Nick and Bailey have a love that just radiates happiness. It fills your soul up with that love and it makes you want to stay close by just to be around it. As we went through their session, I thought to myself that I really could not have picked out someone better for either of these two. They truly build, lift, and push each other to become more. Because these two love the mountains and hiking so much, we could not think of a better place for their engagement session than up in the Logan Canyon. It seriously was the perfect location and they picked out the best stops with some beautiful views for the session. We love when couples help pick locations because it feels authentic, real and true to who they are! Nick and Bailey spent some time driving up the canyon to pick out all th spots and we went to their favorites. They even braved walking in an ice-cold creek for some pictures- don’t worry, I know it was cold because I was standing in it too!
I have know Bailey for years; we played high school volleyball together and have plenty of inside jokes that we spent time laughing about during our time together. Being able to take pictures for people I know is always such a special thing, because I always have felt that they have found someone who really complements them and makes them so incredibly happy. Nick is definitely one of those people for Bailey. We can’t wait to see Nick and Bailey again soon!
