As we drove up to the resort, I could tell exactly why these two chose this as their venue. It was the perfect place for them. Tucked into the mountains near Logan, there is a new ski resort called Cherry Peak and it was there that Nick and Bailey promised to love each other forever surrounded by their family and friends. As Bailey was getting ready, she spoke of how she was starting to feel nervous and a little anxious. It was all too easy to remember those nerves of excitement that I felt the day I married Logan and I reassured her that if our time together had been any indication of how much they loved each other, they were headed to a happy life together. Bailey and Nick seem to always make each other laugh and they bring out the best in each other.
When the time came to do their portraits after the ceremony, we had the chance to go up to the top of the mountain for pictures, but we would need to go up in a Razor and you can bet we said YES to that!! The higher we got, I couldn’t help but feel the need to pinch myself over and over again because this was real life. We had a beautiful couple in the middle of the mountains, at the very top of a mountain. The whole view was incredible and we cannot thank DiLynn from Cherry Peak enough for getting us up there. All the bug bites that we came down from the mountain with were totally worth it!! We can’t wait to see where life takes you two!!
