Do you remember the wedding giveaway that we did at the beginning of the year? This is that wedding!! Are you prepared to see all the pretty things that went with this wedding?! When we ran the giveaway, we had our contestants have their friends and family like their picture on our Facebook page to “vote.” When the contest started, one couple shot up to over 300 within a couple hours, but by the end of the day Taylor and Brianna has surpassed them and no one ever came close to the total amount these two had- over 1,000!
We met up with Taylor and Brianna about a month ago for a mini engagement session and dinner to get to know them better. The main reason we wanted to do that though, was to help them feel comfortable on their wedding day!! We wanted them to have fun and enjoy every aspect of their celebration and that little encounter prior to their wedding sparked a serious friendship between the four of us. From the moment, we showed up while Bri was getting ready to joining in with them on the dance floor to their final exit and hugs goodbye, we couldn’t have felt closer and more connected to Taylor and Brianna.
Enough about that, let me tell you all about their wedding day!! The day started for these two with exchanged gifts and you won’t believe me, but they got each other the same thing. They each spent time while they were engaged writing in journals that they gave each other on their wedding day… how sweet is that? I think these two might have a future of random and spontaneous love notes in their future. Bri spent the morning getting ready with all of her bridesmaids and laughing as they all reminisced on their favorite memories with her. After she was all laced up into her dress, she shared a special first look with her dad that was followed by a father’s blessing.
Taylor and Brianna wanted to share a first look before going into the Spokane LDS temple for their marriage ceremony and it was so sweet. We always tell our couples to have their moment and really enjoy their first look. I could have let them have a moment all day because it was so sweet! After the first look, we took a few more portraits and they were off to the temple. As we waiting outside of the temple, we met Brianna’s grandpa, Stewart, who might just go down as our favorite grandpa at a wedding EVER! Logan and I felt like we could have talked to him for hours, plus his British accent is just the cutest! Again as they came out of the temple, they celebrated and had their moment. These two seemed to enjoy and really cherish each moment that they had that day. We wrapped up their final portraits at Coeur d’Alene Lake and I may have fallen in love with that area. It was perfect!!
The next day was their wedding reception and it was INCREDIBLE- just wait until you see it! Plus, their refreshments might be one of the most unique and fun I’ve ever seen! There was a cute dance floor in the middle of the reception, but their dance party became too big and we moved outside… that’s our kind of party!! These two have some VERY talented people in their lives who put together this entire amazing party and celebration for them. Even better, they shared their wedding weekend with Taylor’s niece and we all got to sing to her at the reception- isn’t that the best way to celebrate?! Enjoy some of my very favorites from their wedding! Happy honeymooning Taylor and Brianna!
This is Stewart- the coolest grandpa ever!I have really missed shooting with Logan! He and I see things differently and this image is one of those images of his that I just love!AHH!!!Oh Bri, you are such a beauty! This shot by Logan has me in love! We’ve never seen this done before, plus we LOVE cold cereal!!This cake was SO yummy!! I could eat Naked Cake every day! When your couple wants to go out for sunset portraits, you don’t say no!
