A couple weeks ago, I shared Travis and Addie’s engagement session. During that session, we had the strangest weather as we went from sunshine to SNOW and back to sunshine. The weather didn’t seem to be much more in our favor for their formal session because it was FREEZING!! We took a couple of breaks in the temple waiting room to warm up for a few minutes and these two handled it all so well. Travis didn’t have to be reminded to hold Addie in between shots to keep her warm. He was happy to be snuggling her throughout the entire time.

We were fighting purple hands, pink ears, and freezing toes, but it was worth every second in the cold. This gave us a chance to really photograph all of the landscape that the Meridian temple has to offer and I loved how it all turned out. This might be one of my new favorite temples to photograph at. If you ever know anyone getting married there, send them our way! 🙂

You’ll never believe how this session ended. We were waiting for the rush of temple goers to die down to get a clean background. While we were waiting (shivering) in the cold, a gentleman that none of us knew, came up to these two and pulled out some money and said, “I remember how it was starting out- every little bit helps! Congrats and good luck.” And then he walked away! Add that to my bucket list of kind deeds I want to do! After that,the we took one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE full temple shots. See the one right below this? Ya! It doesn’t get much prettier than that. The temple lights had just kicked on and it was beautiful!
