I remember reading the email from Addie’s mom for the first time inquiring for availability and pricing and in the email she said, my daughter has been following you for YEARS. When we actually found out just how long she had been following us, she came across our page while she was in high school and she told her mom a long time ago that we were who she wanted for her wedding. She had followed along with us for this long and it was finally her turn. I told Logan how exciting it was to hear that she had followed us for so long and it made me excited because if she had been following along with us, she knew exactly how we shot and she loved it. That’s what we ALWAYS want for our brides and really anyone who is getting their photos taken. It’s so important to invest in photographers who have work that you absolutely love!

As soon as we met up for the engagement session, I knew that we were going to really hit it off. Travis had a sense of humor that reminded me of Logan and I loved the way he helped bring that out in Addie too. At one point, I directed them into a pose where they cheered and Travis laughed because he’d never her be that loud. During the session, it was a typical Idaho fall day. The sun was shining and that golden light was coming through perfectly. Halfway through the session, it started snowing!! We took cover in the car for a few minutes to take a break from the crazy weather and sure enough, it stopped snowing and the clouds and fog rolled back out. They were such troopers through the entire thing.

I called Logan as I drove away and told him that I knew he was going to love working with these two. And time would tell that I was 100% right!! Their formals and wedding day coming soon!!
