I really love hosting- Logan thinks that it’s cute because I like being a the kind of wife that likes to have people over for dinner and throwing parties. Holiday parties, where I can plan games and food to match the holiday, are always my favorite. My holiday Pinterest boards are full of different ideas and links to great party ideas. Check those out if you are planning a holiday party! Last year was the beginning of what I’m hoping are our annual ugly sweater parties. We know that as finish up school, friends move away, we might (someday) move, that those in attendance to this party will always change, but I still want it to be an annual party! At last years ugly sweater party, we played minute to win it Christmas games and we were supposed to have cheese soup for dinner… until I burned it.. Thank goodness for Pizza Hut!!

The ugly sweaters were impressive this year- some homemade and some bought at the DI, were really feeling the ugliness for the year. We started off with a dinner of cheese soup- I was determined to make it work this time! During dinner and the rest of the party, everyone was on edge watching each other because the game of sticker stalker has everyone trying to empty their sticker sheet by putting their stickers on others without them noticing. It was hilarious watching the stealthy actions of everyone!! Once dinner was finished, we played a game of Christmas Family Feud (I found it on Pinterest), a rendition of the Jimmy Fallon tape game (Christmas style), and the Reindeer rack game. We finished off the night with the white elephant gift exchange, where we got the COOLEST Ninja Gingerbread cookie set, sorry for stealing it Rye! We are so blessed to have such amazing friends who put up with us being late because the soup was giving me problems and who make us laugh until our bellies hurt!! Until next year ugly sweaters!!!
