All week the forecast called for snow on Saturday- that’s the risk that all winter weddings take. But when Saturday morning came and we headed to The Atrium for the getting ready portion of Zach and Taylor’s wedding day, the sun was shining brightly through the big windows, giving the perfect soft light to start the day. Family and friends from all over were there to celebrate them- to celebrate their promise to love each other fully, forever. Some of the family was from Florida and didn’t have coats to wait outside of the Rexburg temple for them (BRRRRR), but they couldn’t have been happier!
The whole day felt perfect for these two.Taylor’s details were beautiful from the lace on her veil to her bouquet to her shoes. They pushed through the bitter cold to get those images of the two of them to pass down to their kids and to look back on and see just how in love they were on that day. At the reception, Zach and Taylor stole our hearts by having Catered Your Way for dinner and Cold Stone for dessert! What a combination! And then when everyone joined in on the dance floor for an awesome dance party, I couldn’t stop smiling! Dance parties and ice cream?! These two really know where it’s at!
Meeting Zach and Taylor reminded us so much of our own love story. It happened by chance, at a time and place that neither would have expected. But this little thing quickly led to love and now, they get forever together. If they are anything like Taylor’s parents who were close to celebrating their 47th anniversary, they will be making each other laugh and enjoying every moment they have together for the rest of their lives.
