Now that these two are officially husband and wife, it’s time to show off their first look formal session that happened just a few weeks ago! The week before we actually took these photos, we had another date booked and then we all know how summers in southeast Idaho go, the rain was coming down all week and we had to reschedule. But I’m SO glad we did!!! We rescheduled for a Monday evening and that is the perfect day for a first look session at the Rexburg temple. They open the gates to allow you to be on the grounds, but no one is going to the temple that day leaving the grounds clear and empty for all of the photos!! Plus, we had the prettiest sunset and golden glowy light. In the days leading up to the session, Bryce sent Logan a message about music for their wedding video and the conversation turned to just how excited he was to see Lexie at the first look. Logan brought his phone to me and said you’ll like this text from Bryce, “Can’t freaking wait to see my BRIDE” He was right!! Bryce was so pumped to see Lexie in her wedding dress and knowing just how excited he was made our jobs even more fun the night of their session!

As Bryce waited to turn around and see Lexie, he was basically bouncing with excitement. While Logan was getting set up for the video shot, Bryce shuffled his feet backwards just to grab onto Lexie’s hand for a minute. My heart just melted!! We laughed and chased the light through the entire session and ended up with a beautiful view and sunset. And I’m so glad Logan was there with us because he may have accidentally slipped up on his words and had everyone laughing- making the best photo moment!! Plus, he’ll ever live that one down from me or these two!! If you ever wanted to know what the giddy, can’t wait to be married feeling looks like- you’ll see it in these two!!
