Logan-

Last night you stayed up late finishing your last few things of homework for the semester. I tried really hard to not distract you, because truly all I wanted to do was talk your ear off the way I normally do. And even though you were so busy and had so much to finish and study, you took the time to fill up a hot bubble bath for me to take time to relax; although I secretly think you did it so I HAD to be upstairs while you focused on your homework downstairs. Whatever your intent, I am grateful for your love.

Today you took your last test for the semester and after we spent the rest of the morning snuggling and watching our latest Netflix addiction- Arrow. I don’t think I really tell you enough just how proud I am of you, how much you amaze me, and how absolutely incredible you are. This semester has seemed to take forever in my eyes and I’m really happy it’s over. You have been so busy with school, your job, church callings, and this business, but I’ve never heard you complain about your load. You have done everything you needed to and you have found the time to make me feel loved. So today, even though this was not on the blogging schedule at all, I want to turn the attention all to you. To tell you how amazing you are and five of my favorite things that I have seen you do during this past semester.

1. You think you are so funny with all your presentations in classes. When you tell me after class about your speech and the jokes you start off with, I can’t help but laugh because that is entirely who you are. You are the one who always makes everyone feel comfortable and you aren’t ever embarrassed.

2. You have complete determination. While we have been working in videography into our business, I watched as you would tirelessly try to find new ways or search out more things to add into what you were doing. It’s also evident in the way you spent hours on a project and how you tried to make it your best.

3. This semester, as crazy insane as it was, you took a big step from the amount of Mt. Dew you would drink and you added in a lot of water. It’s a silly thing to be so proud of you for, but I am impressed because of the amount of late nights we pulled to get you through your homework and work. You didn’t reach for the caffeine and that makes me happy

4. You’ve been dreaming big. I think in the past four months we have dreamed bigger than we ever have. We have set goals and made plans and we have both been pushing forward for them. These moments of dreaming big together have been some of my favorites, because I can see a fire in your eyes and a drive and determination (refer to #2) to accomplish these things.

5. You’ve found it Logan. You have been telling me ever since we got married how you wanted to find a job or a career that you are passionate about the way I am about photography. And I think with the classes you took this semester and your videography, you have found it. I’ve seen something new in you and it fills me with more happiness than I can tell you because this is it Logan. You are happy and you are thriving in this. I honestly can’t wait to see where you take this passion!

Lo, I cannot wait to enjoy these next 7 weeks of summer break with you. Now that our summer has officially begun, I want to make a list of things to do like- camping, longboarding, bike rides, hiking, swimming, drive in movie, and picnics, you can add whatever you would like to this list as long as you hold my hand and take me with you.
