When Jacob and Elizabeth met me for their Kathryn Albertson Park Bridal Session, we were all worried we might get rained on. Despite the threat of poor weather, we took the most beautiful images! I have taken bridals at Kathryn Albertson Park before when the sun was shining, and having a cloudy day made the vibe totally different! (Remember Brooke and Trevor’s Bridal session?) As I waited for their session to start, raindrops sprinkled on my windshield. But luckily we went through the entire session with just a few raindrops at the very end as we took one last walking photo!

The first time I ever saw Elizabeth, she was on an iPad being passed around at her sister’s wedding while she was still on her mission in NYC.  I met her in person at her other sister’s wedding. Now it’s finally her turn!! Speaking of her other sisters. If you think that Elizabeth’s dress looks like it was made just for her, it literally was! It was custom made by a friend who has now made all 3 of the sisters’ wedding dresses! So incredible!

While we were shooting, I got to hear more about Jacob and Elizabeth’s story. Turns out, for them, it was all about timing. When it was finally right, Elizabeth said it all really just fell into place, even with her leaving for a study abroad in Jerusalem soon after.

We ended the session by taking a BeReal photo on their phones (I don’t know how that app works! haha!) and then the skies opened and it POURED. Again, for them it really is all about the timing!
