From the minute I read Tahni’s first email inquiring for prices, I knew I would LOVE to work with them. But one thing I didn’t realize was just how much I would ABSOLUTELY love them. Tahni had a vision for their barn engagements and these two were so happy to freeze with me during their frosty morning bridal session! Now I’m sad that their wedding day has already come and gone, but so happy that we were able to be a part of it.

At their bridal session, I began hearing all about the details and ideas they were going off and using for the wedding and  reception. The colors they were wanting to use could not be found anywhere for dresses. Bridesmaid dresses were being a struggle. Instead of continuing to search for the perfect shade of teal, they died the dresses! Trust me, you won’t believe it when you see it! They turned out amazing!!

When a farm girl marries a farm boy, it is obvious that they would love to have their reception in a barn. Because they couldn’t get a barn at this time of the year for their reception, they “built” the barn inside the church to give it that same feel. When we walked in, my jaw dropped! The work that went into this wedding was unreal. From the barn walls to the just married on the back of the cake topper to the mason jar chandelier, I was floored!!

Their entire reception was celebrated with family and friends. These two laughed all night and everyone watched as they had their first dance as husband and wife. We all laughed as the cut the cake and almost knocked it all over, thankfully Austin caught it at the same time as giving Tahni some cake in the face!
