One of the random coincidences in my life is that I am the youngest grandchild on both my mom and dad’s side of the family. My brothers are also the closest ones in age to me, no cousins close in age at all. I have second or some other type of cousin that is my age, but we never saw each other growing up. I’m not complaining because I get along great with my cousins too!! There is just definitely an age gap. Now at this stage of my life, some of my cousin’s kids are closer in age to me than my actual cousin! This is one of those incidents- my cousin Mindy has the most beautiful daughter who is a senior in high school this year!! That means Brianna and I are 6 years apart in age… There’s a few more between Mindy and me! Haha!! I had been looking forward to Brianna’s senior pictures all summer after we chatted about it one day at my grandparents’ home.

When our schedules finally lined up, it was the perfect October day with gorgeous light. Brianna showed up with her makeup done by the incredible Davian. Her hair had the perfect curls that she doesn’t even have to hairspray to keep the hold- her hair must be magical!! Brianna had planned for outfits that she loves and that gave the session a look that was unique to her! If you want your senior session to be unique and special for you, make sure to be true to you. Wear what you love!! After Brianna’s first outfit change, she asked if she could put her hair up for an outfit and I was just too excited that she wanted to do that. Another great tip for your senior session it to switch up your hair. It gives a whole new look to your pictures, giving you a great variety in the end! I honestly couldn’t pick out one photo as my very favorite because I loved them all so much. I also really loved getting to hang out with Mindy and Brianna and hear about Brianna’s life and everything she has going on as a senior! She is going to go far and turn a lot of heads along the way 🙂 Enjoy my favorites from her session!
