Bumpdate: Week 14

Bumpdate Week 14 with MIchelle & Logan
Bumpdate Week 14 with MIchelle & Logan

How far along? 14 weeks  Size of baby? According to the app Ovia, it’s the size of a beet! About 3.5 inches long! Baby’s heartbeat was 155 at our last appointment. Weight gain? 2 pounds  Maternity clothes? Nope! Today I wore a more fitted dress because I thought I was looking more pregnant and I ended up feeling like I looked like I just ate a big cheeseburger! Hahaha!! 🙂 Sleep? We switched sides of the bed to make it easier for me to get up and go the bathroom (I used to sleep next to the wall) and that is really throwing me off! Cravings? Fruit and cucumbers!! Have you seen the prices of strawberries lately?! These out of season cravings are rough! Queasy? I honestly have been so lucky to only have felt nauseous twice up to this point in the pregnancy. The first was pretty early in the pregnancy and we went on a date to Chik-fil-A. The spicy chicken sandwich got me good. We’re going to avoid that place for the rest of the pregnancy because I love it too much to want to ruin it forever. The second time was a few weeks ago when I defrosted chicken in the microwave. BAD IDEA. I can eat chicken just fine, but defrosting is a no-go for me. Movement? Nope! I’m anxiously waiting for the flutters. Some days I sit still and close my eyes, just hoping it will happen!! Weird moment this week? This week it was the case of uncontrollable giggles (especially when Logan is around) and then all the tears for no reason.. I thought I was emotional before… Yikes. Today, I also think I overheated a little bit and felt a little like I was going to pass out. Trying to drink lots of water after that feeling. Best moment this week? Announcing the pregnancy!! We have truly felt so loved from all the texts, calls, comments, and conversations. This has been such an exciting thing for us and we were so excited to share it. And one more, Logan’s excitement at seeing my belly “pop” out a little more this week. He is so excited for me to get a big pregnant belly, like serious excitement over it.  Looking forward too? Logan’s graduation this Friday!!!! WOOO!!! And then spending time together and actually really enjoying the holidays together. Gender? Most of the time my I think girl, but then every now and then my opinion sways over to the boy side!! Logan always votes the opposite of what I say just to be funny.
