IDAHO FALLS ENGAGEMENT SESSION | BLAINE AND SHELLY
Blaine and Shelly’s Idaho Falls engagement session was nothing short of perfection! When Shelly’s mom first reached out to tell me that Shelly was getting married, I was SO excited! I have had the privilege of photographing all the weddings for their family (Matt is Shelley’s brother — be sure to check out his and Abigail’s bridals here!! So good!!). I was so happy I was available and able to keep the tradition going with Shelley.
Blaine and Shelly’s session was just one of those *good* ones that leaves you with a big smile on your face. These two just radiated love and excitement and it felt so contagious! I loved hearing their story and hearing how much fun they have together. We all laughed so much and had a great time. It was fun to see Shelly getting married after knowing her (and photographing her at her siblings weddings!) for so long.
I loved all of Blaine and Shelly’s outfit changes. Dressing for a winter engagement session can be tricky — you have to be sure you’re dressed in layers. Have good walking shoes or boots! And yet still make it all look cute and flattering. Shelly knocked it out of the park! She had the cutest vest, sweater, and shacket that she rotated for different locations and portions of the session. I also love challenging myself with winter sessions to find locations that show off the snow without making everything just a blank wall of white behind my couples. We found the perfect grove of trees with bright, beautiful leaves still hanging on the branches! These were some of my favorite photos from the whole session! And then of course we made sure to hit up the quintessential winter pine trees that are always a classic favorite. These two made winter engagement sessions look effortless! I can’t wait for their wedding!!
