Last week, I introduced these two on the blog while they dressed up as a bride and groom for our styled shoot! What I didn’t tell you about that though, is that when I asked them to be a part of it, they were just dating! I was worried that they would think I was crazy, but they agreed to it and ended up getting engaged a week before the shoot!! While they dressed up then, they were really just practicing for their own wedding and engagement photos.

There were a few things that I was obsessed with during their session. First off, the day we took their engagement photos the sun came out and created that perfect glowy light for the entire session. And the wind wasn’t even blowing! Second, listening to them tell stories about their relationship like who picked out the ring, was hilarious. I loved hearing both of their sides to the story! Regardless of who picked it out and where they found it, it was PERFECT!! Third, the way Jay looked at Annie was enough to melt anyones heart. It was so obvious that Annie is Jay’s person (don’t worry I’m still watching Grey’s Anatomy reruns!). She is the one that he turns to for cheering up and that sweet smile. It was just too good watching those moments that he’d look to her and that smile would cross his face.

Annie and I met my second semester of college during a 7:45AM class- that was almost 4 years ago (where does the time go?!). In the past 4 years, I’ve seen Annie happier than when she is with Jay. She is his person, but it’s obvious that he is so good to her! Enjoy some of our favorites from their session!
