On Thursday October 9, 2014, I became an aunt for the 7th time in my Fowler family. When I booked my flight to Colorado in September, I told Chelsea that I wanted to book my trip for October 10th and I asked if that would be too close to her due date. She assured me that it wasn’t and she felt like he would come early. When I went to Arizona for a wedding, I stressed and stewed the whole time that she would have her baby while I was gone, but when I came back she was still pregnant!! When her due date came and went without a baby, I started panicking. I hoped and prayed that I would get a phone call or text from Jared telling me to head on down to the hospital, but NOTHING!! Until my bags were packed for my trip and I was in Idaho Falls to stay at my parents house to catch an early flight.
Chelsea went to the hospital earlier in the day, but little man decided he wasn’t done hanging out inside his mom until 11:20 at night!! I had to be at the airport at 5 in the morning the next day, so I am SO grateful that he decided to meet his aunt Michelle before I left! Jared and Chelsea were incredible and so beautiful as just a couple. Even more beautiful as Chelsea was glowing as a pregnant soon to be momma (see for yourself here). And now, they have an indescribable beauty as parents- their love for one another intensified and the love they have for Kaden is so strong you will feel it in these images.
But for now, I need little Kaden to know a few things about! So with these images is a letter to the newest member of the Fowler Family.
a part of our family. You are someone who has been prayed for and loved
before you were even here. You are so loved that I don’t even know how to explain to you how loved you are, but I will try! As your aunt, I can’t wait to spoil, tickle, and of course take pictures of you. Grandpa and Grandma Lu are so happy to have another little grandbaby to love on and play with too! And then you have some little cousins who can’t wait for you to get a little bigger so they can play games with you. But the people who love you most of all are you mom and dad. The way they love you is perfect and can’t be explained. Their love will be such a blessing in your life.
Try new things! Know that it’s OK to make mistakes and be wrong. But don’t be scared of an adventure! You are going to move mountains Kaden!! And sometimes you are going to forget how awesome you are, but look to your parents and they will remind you. They are some of our biggest fans!
Yay! I'm so happy for them! Being parents is the best thing in the WORLD!!!! I saw a cute, pregnant lady at the temple the other day and was so impressed she was there when she was so far along. Then I saw Jared and thought, "Of course they are here!" CONGRATS YOU TWO!!!!!!
