While most anniversary sessions don’t happen close to the real anniversary date, Kenon and Marissa JUST celebrated their 3rd anniversary in November. Logan and I were at their wedding 3 years ago, cheering for them!! We were so excited that Kenon had won Marissa’s heart. She really made him so happy and helped him be the kind of person he wanted to be. We’ve loved watching these two support and love each other through different schooling opportunities and adventures. They’ve spent time in Rexburg, Pocatello, Rigby, and Washington D.C. over the past 3 years and they even added a little fur baby, Tootsie.
Because these two are some of our closest friends, I feel like I could write a lot about them. I could tell you about the way Kenon set Logan and I up, and made sure we ended up together. I could also tell you that I owe all my haircuts to Marissa- she’s amazing!!! But what I really want to tell you is how we’ve watched them grow closer together. Kenon is the process of being done with school (HOORAY!!) and looking at jobs all over the United States. Instead of Marissa pulling him to one job or another, she is fully supportive and willing to follow him wherever he chooses. She knows that home is wherever she is with him. When these two moved away from Rexburg, Marissa decided to not seek out a job. She wanted to be a stay at home wife and mom to Tootsie. Kenon loves that about her. He loves the kind of wife she is- creative, crafty, and loving. They have supported each other through tough times and they’ve always come out on top.
Happy Anniversary you two! Marissa you are SO stunning!!Favorite!!Aren’t these outfits perfect?!This tree made me so happy!LOVE!!
