Everything about Keifer and Sophia’s LDS wedding at the Idaho Falls Temple was downright perfect. Every detail was so thoughtful. The weather was perfect. And the dance party was epic! What more could you ask for?!
Rehearsal Dinner
The night before their wedding, Keifer and Sophia hosted a little dinner with their families. Sometimes wedding days are so hurried and crunched with so many things to fit in! Consider ditching the day of luncheon for a wedding dinner the night before! I’m a big fan of that!! (In fact, we did this for our own wedding too!!) That way you can get married later in the day and keep things a little slower and more easy-going instead of go, go, go. Not to mention, it also gives us a chance to capture a few portraits of you together in a little more casual clothing and more relaxed environment with your families.
Each of their dads took a turn to share about their kids, which is always such a special, sentimental moment. Then, the rest of the crowd got to know the two of them with a good round of everyone’s favorite Shoe Game.
LDS Ceremony at Idaho Falls Temple
One special detail about Sophia’s wedding dress. It was inspired by her nana’s own wedding dress! I couldn’t wait to see it on her and share in the moment of honoring her grandmother in this way.
As soon as the newlyweds exited the Idaho Falls temple, their little nieces were more than ready to grab the veil and help carry it around all day! It was the sweetest thing! We captured the most beautiful temple portraits with the family and the happy couple!
Idaho Falls Backyard Reception
Their outdoor reception was so well thought-out. Every detail was impeccable! From the charcuterie boards to the dance party, everything was stunning! And hey! Not only was their an amazing DJ who helped make for the best dance party, but the whole night concluded with a bang. Literally! They even had fireworks during their last dance and sparklers to send them off.
