With fall officially starting and me kicking off my sisters trip to Colorado to visit Carrie, it’s got me a in the fall mood. The idea of Halloween crafts, fall fashion, and the fall food makes me SO excited. I love boots, sweaters, flannel, and scarves. But I REALLY love caramel apples, soup, hot chocolate and pumpkin everything. A few weeks ago, I saw Pumpkin Spice Kisses make their seasonal appearance at our grocery store and I knew that I would be making some muddy buddies soon. Logan and I made these when we were dating and I’ve loved them since then!! They are SO easy and if you love pumpkin things and powdered sugar, this is for you!
Ingredients-
1 bag of Pumpkin Spice Hershey Kisses
Rice Chex
Powdered Sugar
The first step is the worst because you have to unwrap every single kiss and put it in a bowl. Ask someone to help you because it’s not so fun to do it all by yourself. After they are all opened, melt them in a microwaveable bowl. Stir and continue to heat until entirely melted. Once melted, open up your box of chex and pour the cereal in. I usually start with a small amount and work my way up so I know that they are all getting coated. Once coated, put in a zip lock bag and add powdered sugar. I again, add less and then add more as needed. Shake the bag until it’s all coated! And that’s it!! Store in a ziplock bag or bowl with a lid. Don’t worry, I’ll be buying most of the bags at our grocery store because I can’t get enough of them! You better beat me to them while I’m gone! P.S. Usually you can’t find them at Wal-Mart. Check out Target or for those local, Broulims!
