Morgan and Rayse are the kind of couple that I hope to see again soon to and hang out with. These two were amazing to work with and I’m so grateful to not only say they are a MicPetey couple but friends! As soon as I met with Morgan to go over wedding details over a smoothie in the fall, I knew that this was a perfect fit. Plus one of her wedding colors was purple! And we all know I’m a little on the obsessed side when it comes to purple. These two have the kind of love that is magnetic and it draws you into those emotions and allows you to easily feel the way they feel about each other. That kind of love is a beautiful thing to capture because it shows in the way they hold each other, the way they look at each other and they way they smile.
I hadn’t seen Rayse since the end of December for their engagements and when I worked with them then, I knew their wedding day was going to be incredible. You can check out their engagements here. Then I met up with Morgan a few weeks prior to their wedding for her bridal session and we talked about how hard it had been to be apart all the time during their engagement and she was SO ready to be his wife and be with him. That’s the way it should be! By the end of our engagement I was over saying goodnight at the door and I was ready to be with my husband, so I totally knew where she was coming from. Her bridals were beautiful and it made me even more excited for her wedding day. Her bridals can be found here.
On their wedding day I woke up and the day looked a little dreary with
those grey storm clouds hanging around and I was worried it would rain
as they came out of the temple and her hair would go flat, dress would get wet, and makeup would run, but the rain
held off until we were finishing up. The coverage those clouds gave us
was exactly what we wanted to give them the best lighting possible that
day. No squinty eyes or tears from keeping eyes open for too long with
the bright sun. It was perfect! From the moment they walked out together
as husband and wife to their reception, they were radiating their love
for each other for everyone to see! And in my opinion it’s so clear in
their pictures too!
Their wedding day was beautiful with the spring blossoms and bright bold tulips around the Idaho Falls Temple grounds. They walked hand in hand together blissfully all day as they started on their new adventure together! We hope Arizona is treating you well and that your cruise was amazing!!!
