While I was waiting for Carly and Talon to meet me at our location to start our session, I sat in my car and started people watching. I looked over and watched a guy get out of his truck and walk around to open the door for a girl. As I watched that, one of those big, silly smiles spread across my face. Instead of looking at Pinterest for inspiration, this is what I do- I watch couples and see the way they interact with each other. Watching these this couple at the truck started my session off right. After these two disappeared into the library, I sent Carly a little text just letting her know where I was and she sent one back saying they were here too. I looked around and couldn’t see them, until they walked towards me from the library holding hands and laughing. This was the couple from the truck. That same stupid smile spread across my face when I realized that I was working with a couple who had those giddy feelings of love and respect for one another. As soon as we started, I could tell I wouldn’t have a problem getting these two to have fun and be comfortable. Their love instantly took over, and we were laughing and smiling the entire time. That is exactly what we want to see at every engagement session. We want that love to show through and these to made it happen soo easily!!

When Carly and Talon talk about first meeting each other, it seemed like was just meant to happen from the beginning. They were instantly drawn to each other as Carly spent her time filling up his glass of root beer very eagerly each time it got a little low. She spent the summer loving that dirty face he had when she’d see him as he just got off work and over time they fell in love. Now they are happily counting down the days until they can live in the same state again and spend their lives together!
