Carly and Talon started their bridal session in the best way possible with one of the sweetest first looks ever. As I chatted with Talon while we waited for Carly to get to us, I had the chance to see his nerves and excitement to see the woman he soon will call his wife. As Carly walked closer, I took a different angle to greet her and watched Talon rebutton his tux jacket, straighten his tie, and get that nervous grin. As Carly walked up behind him, he reached his hand out just to be able to hold her fingertips tight. The emotion was so strong as he waited to turn around that it almost felt tangible. It was SO good to be able to witness that first look with these two shared together at the Rexburg LDS temple. Plus, it felt like after their first look was over, we already had so many amazing images because Talon and Carly are so natural and comfortable with each other and in front of the camera.

I knew from their engagement session, that these two are fun. They love to laugh and be happy. Knowing that made my job so easy as we went along because they two just couldn’t stop smiling despite the wind and the cold that persisted the entire time. When I first saw Carly’s dress, I was so excited because first off, it fit her like a glove!! Secondly, the material of her dress is one that will move freely in the wind to create those stunning movements that make it seem like you can feel the wind. At least it does that to me, but I’m a little weird 🙂 Watch for those pictures of her dress moving because those are like magic to me! Can’t wait to see you two come out of the temple today as husband and wife!
