Last year we hosted our first ever workshop!! It was nerve wracking, but we realized something about ourselves- we loved teaching and helping others. That workshop really inspired us. It inspired us to, lead Tuesdays Together and host our first ever styled shoot, and it gave us the confidence to teach a workshop again. Today we are announcing the second round of our beginner’s workshop! We have truly loved watching the photographers who came to the first one grow- we are so amazed by them!! And now we cannot wait to get another chance at teaching and meeting more people who want to learn about photography!

The beginner’s workshop is for those with a DSLR that are stuck shooting in auto and not getting the images they really want. Maybe you want that blurry, creamy background, but aren’t sure how to do it. Maybe you want to take pictures of your sweet little baby in their nursery, but can’t get the lighting quite right. It doesn’t matter if you just want to know how to use to take pictures of your kids or if you are interested in becoming a photographer- this will get you going for either one of those! We want you to be shooting in manual mode and really be in control of your camera.

At the workshop, we will be teaching you about gear, lighting, posing, the technical stuff, and even some post production too. There is lots of time for questions and really hands on learning. We know we learn best doing it and applying it right then and we are hoping to help you really understand your camera. Along with the in person education, you will walk away with a booklet full of the information discussed to refer back to at anytime and a Facebook group to be in contact with us and ask questions for us to answer or other attendees! We want you to walk away from this confident that you can get those images you have been wanting to take!
