It was middle school when Kinzie first told me she had a crush on my brother. It might have taken a few years, but when Cody finally realized she was such a great catch, I was so grateful.
I absolutely love calling these little boys my nephews — and I love even more that my boys get to play with them and have them close! Nothing better than having cousins close in age (my Jai and their Nash are literally 6 weeks apart).
I get to see these boys often and one of my favorite things is how protective and loving they are about Brooks. He has no idea how loved he is by his older brothers. But I think maybe he will figure it out soon from all the smothering kisses and hugs.
It’s also really fun for me to see my brothers as dads and husbands. I really look up to them and think I have lucked out with 4 of the best brothers ever. This session, and any time I get to photograph my brothers’ families, was another one of those times to see all of that.
I’m so happy that Kinzie kept hanging onto that crush for all those years so we could be sisters in law!
