The worst thing about Alexx’s bridal session is that I had to wait for almost 3 months to share any images and I drove home from Kelly Canyon knowing that these images were some of my favorites!!! Now that Brandon and Alexx have shared their first look and are officially married, I’m free to share away!!  Alexx and I hadn’t met in person until her session and it was so easy to feel so comfortable with her. She has such a fun, vibrant, and easy going nature about her- I mean she put on her wedding dress in the backseat of a truck for this! That takes serious talent!! We met at the perfect time as fall was still hanging on in the mountains and we found some colorful trees and mountain backdrops to play into her Island Park wedding look. I loved that she even picked up a shawl to add to her photos because it served two purposes- it added to the look she was going for with her wedding AND it was freezing so it helped keep her warm- as we were driving to the first location, I watched the temperature drop 10 degrees! Made me glad I wasn’t the one in the dress, but Alexx was so positive and happy throughout all of it, even with the chill.

The first photo I took of Alexx had me fully convinced I was taking photos for a model!! She was so stunning and makes the most beautiful bride. From her big blues eyes to her hair that fell just perfectly to the smile that lit up her entire being to a dress that literally fit her like a glove, she was meant to be a bride!
